January 22, 2010 - Weather Data tied to zip code searches
Starting now, if you put in a zip code into the search box, the first page of search results will have the a three day weather forecast for that zip code. The weather data is pulled in from WeatherDex.com, which in turn pulls it's data from the national weather service. It is not without it's problems. At times it can be slow. I really should be caching the information rather than pulling it live for every query. But that's for another day. I'll put it on the to-do list.

As far as improvements to the weather search, not only am I looking at caching the data for queries, but I am also going to tie the zipcode lookup into the search query itself, so the city and state string will be added to searches that only have a zipcode.
